    Yes.

  • How much storage and what level of usage is included?

    Unlimited issues and unlimited projects. Subject to fair use policy. 

  • What connections does DocuPing have with other systems

  • Does DocuPing support the 19650 number scheme?

    Yes.

  • Other project systems (CDEs) are owned by a single party. Is DocuPing different?

    Yes. When a document is issued from DocuPing the receiving party also uses DocuPing to view and download the document. The document stored in their (the receiver) version of DocuPing is a separate file to the issuer. This ensures that even if the issuer organisation stops using DocuPing the receiver will still have access to the file.

  • How much notice do I have to give to cancel my subscription?

    Write to us 30 days before your renewal period.

  • Are there any file size limits?

    There are no file limits but usage is subject to a fair use policy.

  • What are the login options for internal staff that offer robust security?

    We recommend Single Sign On via 365 which uses the existing Azure AD infrastructure.

  • What are the login options for 3rd parties to receive issues?

    DocuPing can be configured (system-wide) to one of two options; 

    1. Send “magic links” i.e. no logon is required but the link expires, or;
    2. The recipient would need to create sign-up to DocuPing account. The security then checks the logged in DocuPing user’s email against the intended recipients.

  • Where is my data stored?

    As standard it uses the Azure UK, but enterprise customers can choose any Azure location.

  • How secure is DocuPing?

    DocuPing is secured using industry standard best practice technology using OpenID and Azure directory integration. Microsoft Azure is ISO27001 accredited.

  • How do we download all content from DocuPing back into our main filing system?

    Download all the current revisions of a project into a .Zip file, as well as an Excel Register summary sheet using the standard system. If all the prior versions of the drawings are required, DocuPing exposes an open API.  Using this API, a customer, or their nominated third party, can downloaded everything via this API including all previous revisions of drawings, as well as per project XLSX file issue history. Alternatively, for an agreed fee DocuPing’s team can provide services to assist in export where yourselves, or your nominated third party, do not have the skills. Typically, this will take up to 1 day depending on the volumes of projects and documents.

  • How long does DocuPing hold my documents?

    We hold onto documents for 6 months from termination of subscription. Recovery of documents will be on a best effort basis and individually costed.

  • Can we create new fields for say sheet size, scale, file format?

    There are 5 custom fields available, as well as built in support for size & scale. File format is inferred from the uploaded file.

  • Can these new fields be included on the excel full register export?

    Yes, this is expected to take up to couple of hours if required at £100 per hour ex VAT.
